Making an appointment:
Because Balsamroot serves many clients who need to stay on a particular timetable for Manual Lymphatic Drainage, Susan schedules regular clients (those who have standing appointments each week, every two or three weeks, or once a month) before the schedule is open to general/new clients on a first-come, first-served basis. Generally Susan does that scheduling about two months ahead, and you are then welcome to claim one of the open appointment times as indicated in the on-line scheduling program. If you see that a month in the far future looks completely booked, rest assured that it will open about two months ahead and keep checking back. If you prefer to email or telephone for an appointment instead of using the on-line tool, please contact swetsusa@isu or (208) 339-1130.
That said, if you are in one of the practice's core areas of concern (caregivers, the bereaved, manual lymphatic drainage, hospice/geriatric/dementia massage) you are always welcome to contact Susan via the contact button on the website or the above means to see if it is possible to open a new appointment time for you (some weeks, as when Susan is doing hospice massages for Heritage Health Services, this will be impossible, but at other times it will be).
Treatment options and charges: Balsamroot Massage offers 1-hour sessions for $50, 30-minute sessions for $30, and 90-minute sessions for $70. There is an extra $10 charge for visiting homebound clients.
Gift Certificates are available, and they may now be ordered, purchased, and delivered without having to coordinate a studio visit! See the "Gift Certificates" tab for details.
Susan is available to speak to grief/caregiver support groups and health care/social services professionals about the role that massage can play in helping people cope and heal during these difficult periods in their lives. Please contact her to inquire.
